Ingredients:

1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix

1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup milk

1/2 cup chopped strawberries (optional for garnish)

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy.

Add the vanilla extract and milk to the cream cheese mixture, and stir until well combined.

Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Pour the cream cheese mixture over the pie filling, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.

Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer. Do not stir or mix.

Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix, ensuring it is evenly distributed.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the cake is bubbly around the edges.

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
