Ingredients:
5 oz ground beef (do NOT cook before mixing with rest of ingredients)
1/4 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 1/2 teaspoons ketchup
1/2 teaspoon plus 1/8 teaspoon firmly packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
3 tablespoons minced fresh onion OR 1 1/2 teaspoons minced dried onion
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Place raw ground beef into a very small saucepan or mini crockpot and add boiling water.
Break up beef so that it’s in very fine pieces.
Stir in the rest of the ingredients.
Simmer on low on top of the stove, stirring occasionally for about 1 1/2 hours, or in a crockpot on low for about 2 hours.
